Gold is still a good investment option for the long term. Given the weak U.S.economy and the Eurozone problems, gold makes a good hedging strategy. Although the Eurozone leaders might be able to avert a financial collapse , I don't see the problems going away anytime soon. This will make gold a safe place to park your money.
